About Ana

Hello again! I’m Ana Kusenberger, a queer Puerto Rican performer from San Antonio, TX.

As a BFA Musical Theatre student at Otterbein University, I performed in several plays, musicals, and classroom workshops. More importantly, I began to learn what it takes to make theatre happen by serving as the Facebook Content Creator and Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Otterbein Theatre and Dance. I was in charge of many important projects involving patron satisfaction, donor recording, and student representation.

Through these opportunities, I’ve learned that I love both performing and helping make performances happen.

I’m currently a press intern at Frank Publicity in Manhattan and an educational outreach intern at The Shadow Box Theatre in Brooklyn.

Aside from the above, I have passions for puppetry, pasta, pastry, poetry, paddleboarding, pop-up farmers markets, and museums. I’m a fan of discovering new and affordable dining options that may get overlooked by many. I also do some amateur logo/business design in my spare time. Recently, I’ve enjoyed my newest job: being an aunt to two beautiful little girls.

I am a big fan of traveling! In fact, in the summer of 2025, I studied abroad in Italy. During that time, I learned so much about myself and the world around me. And of course, the theatre kid in me could not contain her cool when she saw the Juliet balcony.

I hope that my creative passions will allow me to travel more and continue learning about the world around me. (Plus, good food doesn’t hurt!)
